is reutzel going to be beatable this year or will it be a 3peat? it just seems like they have somthing figured out on most tracks that other guys dont. i couldnt believe how much faster he was last night in the feature then anyone else at east bay. and that move he made to pass smoke and brown was unreal,  that car looked like it was on rails

In the spirit of one team winnig alot...Traction Control.  Isnt that what people always spout when a team is really fast?  This team gets reliability down and they would be competitive on the Outlaws.  JMO

It's an Outlaw caliber team running against the All Stars. They're going to win a ton once again.

Mark Smith had a 360 last night.      It looked like everybody else did too except for Reutzel.

i told my fiance to keep an eye on him at the start of race. Sure enough he didnt disappoint. Dude was driving like a bat out of hell those first couple laps. The way he split Tony and Brown for the lead on lap 3 was insane.

He will win a ton against the ASCoC but he needs something more, most of the time against WoO competition.  Yes, he won a race last week but his other finishes were 9, 10, 10 and a DNQ.  Not exactly stellar, at least by championship race team standards. I pull for him and he'll likely be champion again this year but they just need to get over that little hump.

I'm sure he made some on the edge passes in lapped traffic as well, but we didn't get to see that. Wish they would do a spilt screen or something. Lots of good action on the track last night. Smoke and Brown put on a show too ...!

I heard they had a special valve in the car to where Aaron himself could add or reduce air pressure in each tire as he saw fit during the feature. Their own little deflate gate.

Aaron is one hell of a wheel man. He is not afraid to take chances. I don't think we have seen the best he has to offer. He is surely one to keep an eye on. I think he is much better than 50% of the Outlaw drivers. Smile

i bet if we raced a full season with the outlaws he would be top 3 if not number 1 . i know i said this earlier in this thread , but that move he did on lap 3 splitting smoke and brownie was insane! i was never a big fan of the guy but im starting to become one

Not a chance he is in the top 3. There is only 1 spot in the top 3 to compete for and that's 3rd place. 15 and 49 are on another level than everyone else they just too consistant and dont have bad night. Your 3rd place competitors are 41, 1s, and 83 and I dont think 87 can surpass those three in points when the season ends

I Think he could  beat out pittman and schuhart ( and im a big shark fan ) Gravel i will say would be a lot tougher, but i still think reutzel could be a contender for top 3 even if Gravel was running a full season.

Wow Bill!!  That says it all!!  Great stats from last year.  I think Aaron will move up from last year, but not sure he can move up as far as 3rd.  It gets pretty tough to make significant jumps as you come up the outlaw points.  The fact that Gravel is not running a full year will help him move up, but it would be a huge challenge to jump 4 positions.  I certainly look forward to watching him wheel a sprint car this year whether with the All Stars or the Outlaws.  His rise in sprint car racing is great for the sport!!

Thanks for sharing this. I would be interested in seeing this data for several other drivers.

Bell, Larson, Brown, and Abreu immediatley come to mind.
