Given what we know at the moment, I think they're all good moves. Macedo is a hell of a driver already but he's going go improve a lot being out there with the best every night and I think one day, he will be a top 5 driver in the sport. Given the fact that Kyle kept the partnership with him and Gaerte in tact, I look for them to make noise right away. Shane Stewart is Shane Stewart. He's one of the best and if he can get things going with CJB, we'll be seeing him frequently in victory lane. My favorite move, is Gravel moving to JJR. I may end up being totally wrong but I have a gut feeling that they're going to do some special things.

Personally none of it matters at all.... the 15 car will win the most races and the title and more then likely win 80% of the big races.
so it does not matter what car this guy is in or what car that guy is in cause they are all lap bait year after year and you all know it

Are you rating in terms of success you think they will have? 1- CJB. 2- KLR. 3- JJR.1- I believe this car and team is a top 4 team and Shane is just as good or better driver than gravel Shane will run better this year. 2- Macedo and gearte will do well they will be competitive from the start. 3- Gravel came from one of the better rides I think his best days are behind him for awhile I think jj did alot to make his team work I see this team starting off ok then struggling after a couple months. I believe gravel is in my opinion the most overrated driver out there everyone is hanging on the one outstanding year his team had but one good year doesn't make me think hes a top 3 driver what has he done outside of 2017? This shake- up is interesting giving teams a fresh start.

I started reading your post and by the time I got to the end it really seems you don’t like Gravel all that much. Haha
Gravel has had the most success in Not only the CJB car but also the Roth car (in recent memory) and won a Nationals prelim race in the Bill Rose 6. He’s a Top 5 driver no question.

No I don't dislike him I really dont like or dislike anybody i really don' have anyone I root for or root against I just dont I just think he' overrated 2017 was a great year but that one year is not going to make me think he' all that great other than 2017 I don' know of anything he' done that' overly impressive ask me again in 3- 6 years I may have a different answer it' highly possible but that' just my opinion

The Bill Rose #6 was actually Gravel's family owned #89g. They changed to the #6 in a deal with Bill Rose to get owner's points for Rose while he was out injured.

I agree with your order of the teams improvements Thinking JJR made a outstanding choice with Gravel, KLR is smart by keeping Carson and crew Chief together, with top notch equipment . Cjb I feel is a down grade from Gravel but should have success in year one. There seems to be a 3 year expiration with Jackson should be interesting
Dont think these orders will be how they finish In points.
It will probably be a huge learning year for Philip and Gravel, Philip has primarily only worked with Johnson the team is going tthrough adjustments as to running the team, but will be moving in the right direction and will have lots of wins And success in 2019. Gravel has a future in a points championship. He is 26 and has already almost 40 World of Outlaw Victories..
KLR will have success with funding input and keeping the team all intact.
CJB will have success Jackson has a lot of experience on the road, intersting to see how both strong personalities play out

It all depends upon chemistry between the driver and the crew chief. Put any of those drivers in Karl Kinsers car and they just became BETTER drivers but that's not going to hapen.Chemistry over the long hau is critical.
Shane & Gravel's history speak for themselves. We'll see how Mercedo does over the long, gruling haul.
CBJ and Larson have top notch equipment, don't know if JJR has the $$ to compete with those other two teams over the long haul.

I think the 41 has more wins and finishes higher in the standings than the 2 and 5 teams. Wouldn't be surprised if the 5 finishes higher in the standings than the 2 but with less wins. I think Macedo has success with KLR but theres definitely a learning curve your first full year on tour. Schuchart, Haudenschild, and Madsen for example...
My predictions:
JJR #41 - 10 wins 3rd in standings
CJB #5 - 4 wins, 4th in standings
KLR #2 - 6 wins, 6th in standings

It's gonna be a fun year next year. Gravel and the JJR crew are going to have great chemistry, and Gravel is ecstatic to be with that racing team. It's a great fit.
I think Shane runs well next year with CJB. That team hasn't really ran with younger drivers, so I feel with Shane being a Veteran, they'll mesh well. Both parties needed a reset.
Carson's a young talent that's shown he can hang so far with the 41/22. Having Gaerte staying with him is a great move for KLR, there'll be some transitioning pains as do all drivers go through joining the tour, but this team will be solid top 5 contender.
Overall, the Tour is filled with talent. The young talent (especially the Allen boys) have made a giant leap towards the future of Spint Car racing.

been watching Carson through this whole progression with karting & minisprints, 360's & 410's, he does it, exceeds at it and moves to the next level. I understand these are the best racers there are & that the grind is heavy, these aren't your weekly local shows, I believe this kid is or soon to be viewed in that same class, as one of the best there is. Maybe a few growing pains but they'll overcome most of those & have a really good season. Assess maybe mid-season or so. All of this IMHO, of course

I'd rate all 3 teams and moves a very solid and smart moves. Will any finish 1st or 2nd? Probably not as yes that will probably be the 15 and 49. But then again if any teams were going to race based on a championship then only 2 maybe 3 teams would race. I honestly think Macedo is going to surprise some people. Watching him in Ohio the past few years develop has been great. I'll go out on a limb and say that team finishes above the other 2. No disrespect intended to the other two, both very good teams

Workin Woody. Boy there's a blast from the past. Whatever did happen to the woody team ? They toured for multiple years. It should be sitting in a museum somewhere.
