I have a set of 2 for all 4 days this week. Won a contest but I already have my usual seats for the week. I wont find out until tomorrow where the seats are at but I will sell them for $15 off face value for each set so you can save $30. Email me at [email protected] and as soon as I get them I'll let ya know where they're at if you are interested. Thanks

Nice of Speed Sport to fund this and have the winners sell the tickets.

Knew there was gonna be at least one asshat upset about this. Entered the contest just because and didn't think I'd actually win. I sit with my best friend and his wife every year and I'm not gonna break tradition because I won some tickets. Tried to give them to my fiancé's parents and they're unable to make it so I'm looking to sell them. This is America and I can do that.

P.S. I am VERY appreciative of Speedsport and what they do and for their contest. I mean no disrespect but I want butt in those seats, not for them to sit empty.

Not sure I'd be tossing around asshat when you're the one selling tickets won from a competition you entered knowing you already had purchased tickets.

I'd say if you don't want them to sit empty, you find some nice race fans in Knoxville who don't have tickets and give them away.

And yes, while it is America and you are certainly within your rights to sell your tickets, it makes you no lesser of an "asshat" (Hey look, I can do it too!!!) doing so.

Think about this: Speed Sport is still sending me for cheap. All I'm doing is replacing the seats they gave me with the ones I want. I paid $356 for my tickets and trying to sell these for $326. So thanks to them,  im still going for cheap and making zero profit

In fairness to the guy trying to sell the tickets, 1) I’d be doing the same thing and 2) it was a little late to give a contest for 2018 tickets, probably should have been for 2019 tickets, but oh well.

Are you going to Knoxville? If so, please just give your tickets away like you’re wanting this lucky guy to do. If not, just do this at the next race event you attend.

He’s selling the tickets he purchased prior to a contest giveaway that went out Monday. Jesus Christ. How hard is this?

PS I am winning the Pick ‘Em with your own damn money, mate. (That’s for the original poster because I know you aren’t smart enough to figure that out.)

LOL, talking smart when he clearly states he's not breaking yearly tradition of who he sits with just "because he won some tickets".

Think ya swung and missed there bud.

My goodness people.

Speedsport had the contest for their own benefit and they got attention. They dont care 2 hoots who uses the tickets or even if they get used. If speedsport was focussed on getting new people thru the gate they would have their contest at a basketball game or bowling alley.

Speedsport wanted people to applaud them for having a ticket contest and obviously they succeeded when people are offended by someone who has tickets to make them available to people who dont have but want tickets. Same end result imo.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I would typically agree, but SS redid drawings it for those who couldn't attend (not sure why those people entered either). It seems Speed Sport wanted the winners to attend.

I absolutely understand I look petty here, and if so, so be it - just seems like amateur hour to enter a contest knowing you have tickets already and then turn around and try to sell the tickets you won. I'm sure there are people that disagree with that, and I am completely fine with that - all are entitled to their own opinion on the matter.

If I were Speed Sport, I'm thinking twice about doing a giveaway next year. And that I can tell you from experience as I work in a line that often has giveaways at events and every now and then stuff like this pops up.

+1 to the post on not giving out tickets so short notice - agree with that too, but it's not like they deceived what the winner was getting at any point.

If I were selling these and not going, I could see your frustration. But all I"m doing is using the money from those tickets to pay for the ones I bought. I'm still going to the nationals for free thanks to Speed Sport. I am grateful for it. If you disagree that's fine, you can do that because this is America!

People are programmed to put name in drawing for almost anything. Winning something and selling it is prob more common than not. Geezus you guys, relax. What if I told you half the shit won on Prices right gets sold for cash? Be mad at the business that buys boat load of popular concert tickets or like with solo purpose to resell for nice profits
