Apparently they are done already? No official statement from either the team or the WoO? Or did I miss something?

Well if I had to guess....
They went out on the tour with a deal in place to essentially be teamates with Destiny Motorsports. Destiny dropped off the tour long ago to chase the All STar Tour with Parker. Now....it also came out in the offseason in various places that over time, dad wasn;t exactly good at paying people what they were owed and there were several posts posted about bad checks and money owed from these guys. I'd say...plans havn't worked out and it seems like maybe the writing is on the wall here

Not a shocker, that team/driver were nowhere near ready for the WOO. I don't think many people even noticed they were MIA. Not a knock on Lorenc - he was very competetive in 360's but not much experience in 410, let alone the competition level of the WOO.

Right on. When a driver like Ian Madsen struggles first year on tour, you would think more teams wanting to go Outlaw would begin to see the writing on the wall. And there have been many before Ian. If Ian and his team can stick with it they'll be okay. A new team needs to be prepared, be prepared for mediocraty and have a very healthy budget. Success on the WoO tour isn't found, it's gained. That takes time. And a night here or there running with them will not give a team a true picture of how tough it really is out there.

I would think that is the final nail in the coffin for this guy in sprint car racing...

This is about the 3rd instance of such things as well. Like I said, I think Destiny leaving the tour may have had just as much with cutting ties with these guys as anything. I think he committed insurtance fraud in the early 2000's as well and I know he wroite a bad check for a 410 motor around CHarlotte time last year as well

Let's not convict the kid for anything the father may or may not have done. Everybody agree on that?

The one problem I have with this whole situation, is the fact that this has been blantantly obvious for a couple years now. Hell the 49 team that Shaffer walked into their trailer at Eldora one night and took a motor because of a bad check, or so I read. He had a car owner show up at his trailer in Charlotte to collect money from bad checks, I hardly believe the kid is that ignorant. If he truly has no clue, I feel bad for him.
I just know, that If my dad was pulling that crooked crap for me to race, I don't care if he promises me the outlaw tour, I would quit before that car ever hit the track. He can drag someone else through that mess and make them look bad.

Like Clyde Knipp.....
Props to them for sticking with it but I think it would be a good idea to win a few regional 410 races before joining the WoO tour.

Come on Altman an expert like you should know all the drivers he is the #00 that started on the Outlaw trail and last year tried the All Stars for a few races.
Unfortunately we will most likely never here from him again even the top names in the sport cant recover from a scandle,I thoink what might have been for Wolfgang without the problems with the 8H and Jason Myers coming off back to back Outlaw titles.
The only one I can rember staying on top despite a scandle was Bob W eikert against Richard Lupo.
