Best 1/2 mile? Ocean Speedway (1/4) on Friday night and Placerville (1/4) on Saturday night. Just My Humble Opinion

Eldora, but I am biased having grown up going to races there. The Nationals is the bigger event, been around longer, 4 day event.

Key word in the statement you responded too. Is WAS the best 1/2 mile not is. The track in west Fargo has struggled since they dropped sprints and went from a HIGH BANK bad fast 1/2 to a FLAT 3/8.

Eldora's not quite a half-mile which is why it's better, but the biggest race is obviously the nationals by far.

Knoxville versus Eldora
Biggest race Nationals versus Kings Royal
|
Please clarify your question: Your topic title is "best 1/2 mile" and your actual post says "biggest race"?
There is no opinion on the latter---the Nationals is the biggest race. It is. No one can even give a valid argument for the King's Royal being the bigger event.
"Best 1/2 Mile"--that is up for debate and opinions may vary. However, I am confident 80-90% of votes would be for Knoxville. (if voting between Eldora and Knoxville)

Devil's Bowl
|
Really? Will disagree. It's not a half either and they just reconfigured it and now it's .425 mile. Also, Devils Bowl has usually been a one groove track when tacky and sometimes not much better when it's slick. If you ain't hugging the tractor tires coming out of the turns you're probably gonna lose.
Personally I'll take Knoxville over Devils Bowl any day. Ain't been to Eldora, but I hope to one of these days.

That is the funniest thing anyone has ever posted. It is like compairing apples and oranges. Port is not in the same league as Knoxville or Eldora! BTW, I live about 20 minutes from Port.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!
