It’s No Clown as Brown Wins NCRA Mod Lite Feature!

Park City, Kansas – September 5, 2015 - Charlie Brown wasted little time working his way through the field and into the lead as the Iowa driver earned the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products mod lite feature finale Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City.

Ryan Secrest and Briley Goodwin started on the front row for the twenty lap feature and it was third starting Earl Kinderknecht taking the lead as the field completed lap one. Kinderknecht would open an eight car length lead over fourth starting Randy Bryan, who worked his way up into the runner up position from his fourth starting spot, before the first caution fell on lap three for a spin by Clint McFadden.

Kinderknecth jumped away from the field on the restart and behind him Brown, who had worked his way up from his thirteenth starting position, had made it up to third before the lap three caution and got underneath Kinderknecht coming out of turn four to take the lead on lap four.

Brown would survive a caution on lap seven and two on lap twelve and go on to claim his first career series victory in his first ever appearance at the speedway. Bryan settled for second while seventh starting and current division point leader Justin Kinderknecht would come home third. Earl Kinderknecht would fall back and finish fourth while Goodwin settled for a fifth place finish.

The two, eight lap heat races for the seven car field were won by Earl Kinderknecht and Ryan Secrest.

The tour will make their trip north to the famed Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, Kansas on Sunday night to tackle the tracks infield quarter mile oval.
