I buy quite a few PPV events through Dirtvision and other services but the price for the Nationals is a bit steep at $42 a night or $149 for all 4 nights. Imagine Knoxville is setting the price for their piece of the pie but thinking I am going to stick to free audio. Yes, I know it is cheaper then going there but priced to high IMO.

If I could sit and watch from the 1st green to the final checkered flag for all 4 nights, $149 would be a decent price, but I can't . It's mentally harder for me to justify it on a nightly basis, so free audio for me as well.

Is there a single night deal for Saturday this year? Can't make the commitment for Wednesday through Friday but the tentative plan was to get the Saturday PPV only.

Please disregard my question, I see that I can get Saturday for $48. Same thoughts as already posted, I'll have a hard time justifying $48 to my accountant. She a non-race-fan and she pays the Visa. She doesn't mind the $16.75 for an occasional weekly show but we could go out to dinner for $48. My wife doesn't get dirt track racing, she refers to it as forcing her to watch noisy cars go in circles on a too hot/too cold night while dealing with "icky food and having to use an icky porta potty". I'll never convince her otherwise.

Just need to find a way to justify the purchase. In my case, wife asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner tonight. Easily a $50 check.
I say... "No honey, my stomach is a little gassy tonight."
She says... "Ok, I'll just have some of what I'm making the kids then. But there's probably not enough for you too."
I say... "No problem, I'll just have a can of soup and crackers." Plays right into my "stomach ache" excuse anyway.
$42 for Night 1 program? Looks like I save $8 by electing to watch the Cushion tonight.
Close the door to the office, tell her she probably does't want to come in here, me being gassy and all... and my plan works to perfection.
If I save this kind of money every night of the Nationals, I can almost afford to take her out to dinner Sunday.
