Don't think Karl is doing so....but anybody that doesn't think he could still do it, new rules and everything else, simply don't know what Karl is capable of!

Being it is the off season for SKOOL and he's not tuning Mark's yeller SKOOL bus engine, why not take in the sites as Knoxville?

What a great idea giving a youngster a chance to fulfill his dreams of racing a Sprint Car based on nothing more than talent. Just to let you know Kyle is qualified to to to do this I'll give a little background on Kyle Bates and a tad on myself.
I have been around racing most of my life. I raced pavement Supermodifieds (as the worlds oldest rookie at 37 years of age) in Canada for several years and even managed to take home a decent collection of winning trophies.
I first met Kyle when he was a quiet 16 or 17 youngster. He was a rookie racing a Sprint Car for Jim Albert and and didn't have a clue what he was doing ...... however he had talent and learned fast. A year later I watched him win his first Main event in one of Tim Gee's rental cars. A run in with another car left him without a right front shock absorber and his front wing askew. When they re-started he drove through the field and took a very competitve class of drivers to school. Kyle knows what he is talking about and isn't afraid to put his money where his mouth is. I can't wait to see how well Alex Bergeron does his first time in a sprint car. I'm sure it will be a success. Lets get on board with this great idea.
Wilf Peters.
