Congrats to Greg DeCaires on his second consecutive Placerville 360 title in a row! He and Trulli really fought hard on the track in the late going during the feature, they both wanted it so badly. Trulli charging up from the rear to the win in his heat was fun to watch.

Nice to see Forsberg back on track at his main stomping grounds again, that's now what two wins, one second and one third in his last four race starts. Hopefully he can keep the momentum up in time for the festivities at Silver Dollar this week. (I'll miss that ancient red aerofoil, though...it seemed like one hell of a good luck charm!)

After collecting donations from the crowd for Billy Butler - hats off to the fans in Hangtown this week for their charity - we got an update on his condition; he had some severe leg burns and even had to go back for a followup visit to the hospital this week due to a reaction to some medication he was taking. He won't be racing again this year but hopes to return to the cockpit next season, thoughts and prayers go out to Billy, his team, and his family in a difficult set of circumstances for them at present.
