At the nationals we went into the pits after the Friday prelim. Many folks around Donny Schatz as his pit area was just inside the gate. My cousin is a Donny fan and wanted to say hello. Well we decided to go around the pit area to all of the other drivers and then return to Schatz pit. When we did there were only about 10-12 people at Donnys pit. One of his crew members said to Donny " Lets get out of here". Donnys response was "No. Not until everyone here gets what they came for."
Donny signed shirts, hats and stood for photos until he had greeted ALL around his pit. I am not personally a Schatz fan but in my eyes this moved Donny up a notch on the ladder. I do see lots of bashers on this site and just had to put something positive here. Thanks Donny for taking the time..
