Looks to be great weather for La Salle. I think Mike Reinke starts the year of strong with a Win in the 02.

Not going to be the 02. We are not quite ready and won't be at the opener. See everyone next week at Beaver Dam.

Should be a great season! who is this years IRA champ pick? I am going with Bill Rose, very consistant. Last year was full of great surprises, especially the last 2 nights of competition. 1. young Kyle Martin won in his 5th start in a 410 on a very racey track with Ian Madsen and T-Mac in the field (I believe he is a full time runner this year). 2. Mike Reinke and othe IRA regulars giving both Madsen and T-Mac a run at the horsepower half mile. Those 2 nights were a positive outlook on the series future, along with great car counts and several nights with NSL... looking forward to this year more than ever from years past.

This is just a shame! Someone find Mr. Excitement a ride for Saturday!!! I promise he will NOT disappoint!
Real race cars don't have fenders...

With Balog not running full time. I think that Reinke will win it if he can make enough shows. If not its a toss up between Rose and Neitzel. Balog will still win 10 IRA races just being part time.

The weather will be great at LaSalle with rain forecasted at Knoxville. I wonder how many will come to this show instead for a sure thing. The more the better!

Wish I could be down there, just wasn't doable this weekend. Will definitely make it to beaver dam next Saturday though. I need to get down to Lasalle, still haven't ever been there. Looks pretty good on video.

#17b Balog gets front row start in redraw for top 10 and leads entire 30 lapper. #6 Rose chased him entire race and closed to within a car length in heavy traffic but never made a serious attempt to pass. #05 Loyett was 3rd with #65 Goldsberry 4th followed by the #17 off Joey Moughan. Wind blew all night and directly into stands. Dust was not horrible, but eye protection was a blessing

You would think the IRA could put out a press release on last nights race. Sinclair is to busy counting his take to build a fan base.
