We are heading to Northern Indiana tonight to pick up a trailer. Tgen heading to Attica. If Attica gets rained out, is there any other possible races we could hit up between Chicago and Charlotte on Friday or Saturday?

Attica is questionable for Friday due to rain but Saturday looks like a go just going to be on the cold side. Don't know of any Friday options but on Saturday K-C/Atomic is running 410 sprints.

Burlington has sprint invaders on Saturday but that would be a stretch for your route (4 hours further than Chicago from Charlotte). Also I don't know what kind of car count to expect since I-80 is running a good sized 360 show that will steal alot of the bigger names that most would like to see. Even so that track and some of the locals always put on a good show. Last year Jac Haud picked up the win at this race.

Ok... if Attica is rained out on Friday night, where would be the neatest town/bar to hangout with sprint car fans and drivers that night? We are from Charlotte. Know one knows or cares to talk about sprints. Would be neat to hangout with some legends away from the track.

BMcLain,
Probably your best bet would be Fremont, I am guessing...Attica is rained out for Friday....It's a good sized town, and there is alot of racing history there...not too far away from Attica.
We don't hang out with the locals after races, since we travel and are fans, but I thought I might say something since no one else has responded yet....
Good luck and I hope your trip to Ohio is a good one!

I know it's farther east , but Williams Grove on Friday (probably a rainout) and either Port Royal (my choice) or Lincoln on Saturday would be a nice diversion.

I've been stuck in the Attica/Willard area for rain outs before...Not much to do out around there...Not that I found anyway...There are a few restaurants in the Willard area.
Williams Grove is probally going to rain out also...I wouldnt count on that...Your 6hrs from Charlotte at this point..
Did you consider staying in Indiana...Maybe the rain will pass through and you can catch some Non-wing racing?
You might have to find something non-racing related...Its going to be a wet one!
Good luck!!
