PETALUMA, CA – March 28th
Returning to action on Saturday night in Petaluma, CA, local product, Bradley Terrell bested the 30-car field as he thrilled the crowd in route to a dominating win on Saturday night.

Starting on the front row of the 30-lap feature event alongside fellow Petaluma regular, Jake Haulot, and Terrell got off to an early lead before a red flag on the first lap slowed things down.  That red flag would be for a multi-car pile-up out of turn two, all drivers were okay, but it would shake the field up quite a bit. On the ensuing restart, Terrell would again get the jump, but the red flag would waive again before the action got underway.  With trouble in the rear view mirror, things finally settled down as Terrell continued to lead the way as Jake Haulot, Robbie Price, and 14th starting, Justin Sanders, who was the biggest beneficiary from the early wrecks, chased after him.  The extremely fast surface saw the lead pack battle in lapped traffic much of the race, and on the 11th lap, Haulot was able to take advantage and grab the lead from Terrell, but the yellow flag would fly, and negate the pass.  Having another extremely strong restart, Terrell would surge to the lead, as Haulot followed in second, and Sanders moved into the third spot, as both looked for a way around the race leader.  Deep in the field, Herman Klein and Cody Lamar were working their way forward in exciting fashion after being involved in the opening lap wreck, as 21st starting Matt Peterson was also creeping towards the Top-Five on a track that was tough to make moves on.  A late yellow for Peterson would bunch the field back up again, but BT was too good on this night as he went on to score the very popular win, as Haulot crossed the stripe in second, Sanders third, Robbie Price fourth, and Cody Lamar made a huge rally as he would finish in the fifth spot.

“It was a really fast track, and I am glad to get the win.”  Terrell said.  “Lapped traffic got tough at times, and the yellows helped us out a little. I have to thank everyone that works on this thing, because it has been a nice start to the Civil War season.”  Kurt Nelson would finish sixth, Koen Shaw seventh; Herman Klein would rebound from the lap one crash to finish eight, while Chris Martin and Greg Hamilton rounded out the Top-10.  With 30 cars on hand Saturday night, Cody Lamar kicked things off by setting a new Petaluma Speedway 360 track record with a lap of  12.017 seconds. N With four heat races in the Saturday night program, wins went to Dustin Golobic, Brett Rollag, Herman Klein, and Alissa Geving.  Chris Martin picked up the 12 lap B Main event, as Cody Lamar, Kyler Shaw, Kurt Nelson, Matt Peterson, and Roberto Kirby also earned transfer positions into the 30-lap feature event.

Petaluma Speedway returns to action Saturday Night, April 4th.  On tap will be the Pit Stop USA Winged 360’s, and Spec Sprints, Lumberjack Restaurant Super Stocks, Larsen Racing Products Dwarfs, and Jake’s Performance Hobbies Mini Stocks.  For more information please go to www.petaluma-speedway.com.
