If any of you have not met, or do not know Mike Howard, he is the Premier Track photographer at SFS. He also covers most all of the Sooner Region ASCS races, as well as many other sporting events throughout the area. Mike seems to have an eye for detail and is able to capture them on film. His images are some of the best I have ever seen.

Mike is a down to earth guy, to meet and talk with him is to your benefit. He has been taking pictures at Fairgrounds Speedway since the 70's. Mike has alot of history at the Speedway that's probably what makes him so good at what he does.

I just wanted to send this out to show Mike how much he is appreciated and thank him for the great images he has captured.

Does he have a website?

No he doesn't, I've been trying to talk him into getting one. You can view his work on the ASCS site (Sooner Region), or Racing from the Past site. You can also purchase photos of your favorite driver from him at the track.

I have several photos of his, from this year, on my "image gallery" page. He sends action shots of the weeks winners every week but I don't want to post too many until I get more memory for this computer. You can check out what I have posted on that page. I am also working on him either sending me lots more from his collection and try to set up a special section on the image gallery page or having him do it here. There is a place where people can post their pictures, results, press releases and am working on this site getting bigger because of it.
