I`m going to the Daytona 500 for the first time , will be staying north of Orlando, Feb 18th- 23rd. I see my two choices for Sprint Cars will be USAC at Bubba Raceway Park or ASCS at East Bay. Anyone have any opinions on which would be the best show?

I would choose wingless 410s over winged 360s almost every time....if for no other reason than winged shows are much more common.

Absolutely agree! 410s better than 360s, obviously, & wingless much more entertaining than winged. More driver skill, passing, wheelies...& backin' it in!

Also, if you head up to Ocala, don't miss Don Garlits museum, astounding history of drag racing, lots of legendary cars....

18th-USAC @ Bubba
19th-USAC @ Bubba / ASCS @ East Bay
20th-USAC @ Bubba / ASCS @ East Bay
21st-ASCS @ East Bay
Looks like you shouldn't have to pick and choose, should be able to go to see at least 1 event each, that's what I would do!
do it in the dirt

Interesting to see the ticket prices at Bubba for ASCS and USAC when looking at what each pays

Standard Gate for a USAC show is 25 and thats what Bubba's Charging. They've average 32 of the last three years at Bubba for USAC, Go, Have a good time. Wish I could !

Thanks for all the input. Being from Oregon , I `ve only been to one USAC race years ago at Calistoga. ASCS comes up our way every year so I`m looking forward to seeing something different. I was a little leary about going to a track named "Bubba", but if there`s good sprint car racing I don`t care what they call the place. Looking forward to getting some dirt in my beer!
