Dave Lustra should put Travis Whitney or Brook Tantell in that 13 car they will keep winning just like Mark. Both great with the fans, easy on equipment, can set-up a car, and both are winners.

I think Davey Heskin would be a good fit for that car!

If I was a betting man (which I am), I would place my bet on Justin Henderson.

Basically he doesn't want to run the full race schedule lunstra wants to run and would like to spend more time at home with his wife and kids also just had a new born, so he's going to run basi ally his own car sponsored by big trucks by jimco and run the car on his own schedule

I do have to admit in my humble opionion I'am a little bit surprised by this. With Mark's talent, I honestly thought somtime in the future you'd see him running WoO or ASCS or some traveling series and winning races. Wow you have to respect his decision though. To stay at home in your own region or "stay on the porch" as some morons{Nelligan} might word it, is a noble, couragous, unspeakably admirable thing to do as most pa posse members would tell you. So all you can say to Mark is best wishes and keep doing your thing, and of course don't listen to the mind-less morons like Mike Nelligan. You did the right thing. As far as Lunstra is concerned I hope you find a talented and deserving driver and maybe we'll see that sharp looking #13 on the east coast sometime. I sorta had my fingers crossed that we'd see Dobmeier run the Grove somtime, but as I said Mark most certainly made the right decision. Take it easy

R E L AX .....Let Dave Lunstra regroup thats a helluva blow when your driver walks away . Everyone acts like vultures I'm sure he's tired of hearing the phone ring by now . We need to just keep people like dave invold just in racing .We all know just how much it cost to race and if we lose a owner like him it will hurt . To many arm chair owners guessing who's next.

Great third post. I personally hope we get to see the return of the #1L. Plenty of candidates to choose from and everyone thinks their guy should be in it. I just hope the car is still out there week in and week out. Nothing but class and great people with that team.

I think there's a good chance he'll go back to the 1L. The #13 is a Dobmeier family tradition so that's why they made that change 8 years ago.

Forgive me if I missed it but I have not read an OFFICAL announcement from Mr. Dobmeier that he chose to leave the Lunstra ride?
