what is the best injection to run on a racesaver? kinsler, engler, hilborn? Is there much hp difference or does it matter as much with a 305? any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks

it makes very little difference..we have run all 3 and not enough between them

Sounds to me like it's personal preference, and cost. That's one of the main premises of the Racesaver program; cost.
Good used won't hurt you a bit.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

It would be great if the head ports matched up well with intake ports, but most intake manifold ports will be bigger than head ports. I do not know how much this can cost in HP. Hilborn and maybe other now have a Racesaver intake but cost of them is alot more new than a used inj.

There is a big difference with throttle body injection over the other injection. We had a motor with hillborne injection & one with throttle body injection you can run 30 points less gear with the throttle body injection. Nothing off the corner like it does.

i was curious. u see these high dollar injectors for 305's now with air boxes etc... with all that money spent i just wondered if its really worth spending. are the results at the end of the day worth it? obviously not when we are talking money spent and money returned. just curious what others thought or guys who have ran numerous different injectors or seen dyno pulls. appreciate the input.

To me you have to draw the line some place on how much money you want to spend on a 305. If you do not have the very best crank, rod, pistons,block,pan you can buy, why put a $4,500 injector on the engine. With the purse in mind, how much do you want to spend? Alot of times a good handleing car will win over big H.P., so look at tracks you plan to run. Are they 1/4 and 3/8 mile that dry out and HP will not be the huge factor. I could be wrong.
