I spoke with Jack Hewitt this past Saturday and he will be racing at Waynesfield Motorsports Park this Saturday August 25. The two-seat sprint car will also be there and we will be having a raffle for two rides in the two-seater.

The last time I seen Jack he appeared to still be suffering significantly from his injuries. That was a few years ago when they interviewed him on the horse track at attica. I know that he's been wrenching on the 16 car in recent years but I don't make it to the pits much these days. If he's feeling good enough to climb back in a car then that's great news!

jack ran a race at the end of the year last year at waynesfield. its cool to see him get behind the wheel again, but when you see him just walkin around i cant imagine why he would want to.
do it in the dirt
