Does he have the best mechanic you can hire?
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

About what I would assume. Those 80 LMs at Knoxville are pretty stout field and alot of big names did not make it out of the C or B.
Kudos to him for trying something new...

I thought he did a little better trying to run a late models than most of those other drivers would have done trying to run a sprint car, especially if they tried it at the Nationals. If he's having fun and he has said he is, I think it's great. He did finish like 16th in the B with a field of 79 cars.

He was probably running a Ford just for fun last night. only kidding of course. I agree, Schatz could probably drive the wheels off of 95 percent of the vehicles you put him behind.

Agreed. Nobody is going to drop in from another discipline and beat up on these guys. They are damn good at what they do and quite a few of them make their living at it.
