I think it is important to remember Sheldon just turned 21 and has not been racing at times as much as people think. I watched him at Atomic a couple years ago and thought he was outstanding and he has improved a ton since that time.

Someone may need to chime in and set me straight but I believe Williston, North Dakota.

Not many more exciting than Jac maybe TK.He may wreck trying but I would say his desire to win is there and He looks to be in good shape Probably as many Jac fans as Sammy or Steve and his nickname says it all.Promoters love his type  and will be remembered some day as one the the best gassers ever.

Yes I agree.

And who won the biggest sprint car race as far as winner's payout? The Wild Child...Mopar Million....$200,000.00 of course!

Without a wing on to boot!

Jac can still win races. I hope he finds a stable ride again. Jac alone, is worth the price of admission.

I defy anyone to "hate" Jac. It's simply impossible. One of the nicest guys on the planet.

I know I am going to get alot of people upset and riled up with my first post but here it goes, he may be one of the nicest guys on the planet, but he is the most over rated sprint car driver in the last 30+ years.  Take a look at the number of wins, championship's, etc., compared to what others have done in a shorter amount of time. And he has drove for many good well funded teams over the years. Just because his nickname rhymes with his name does not mean he lives up to it.

Multiple King's Royal wins, multiple Gold Cup wins, Historical Big One win, Mopar Million win (highest paying race in the history of sprint car racing), and winning the Knoxville Owners championship for Forbrook.  That goes along with probably close to a couple hundred other victories along the way.  Also, he's driven for many well funded teams over the years because he's respected, well liked, and doesn't burn bridges.  Plus, he's flat out exciting behind the wheel even at 56.

Jac is a top 10-15 sprint car driver in this country over the last 25 years.  That really can't be argued.

Remember Jac putting on a hell of a rim riding charge at Spencer in the R19 for the WoO  win, right before that team folded.

Strange to see him running the bottom at the K-ville Nats this year..

Great driver in his natural prime.

Ageing waits for no man..

All I know about this situation is the Destiny Motorsports team was not happy with Jac at all in Knoxville. During his qualifying night he was running in the A-Main for a few laps and pulled in, not because of mechanical issues, but simply because the "car was tight." This did not make Rick Rogers a happy owner. Furthermore, Jac was two and a half hours late to a mandatory team meeting the next morning which made Rick even further upset. This info came directly from a member of the team whom I visit with every year at Knoxville.

I'm going to put a prediction out there that Craig Dollansky will eventually be named the fulltime driver for Destiny Motorsports car and I also believe you'll see the 9w on the full World of Outlaws tour in 2015 with Dollansky making a return to the series.
