Wow, sounds like this is really going to happen. It is a real shame the All-Stars are in the condition they are in.

I hope for the best but would like to see some changes for the better.  To bad that might happen in a different series frown

I hear they're not going to allow "big" blocks, canted, rotated or splayed valves. They are also going to limit the injector stack size and make the cars weigh at least 1500 lbs............ its going to be totally awesome.............something truly special and different.  Thousands of new fans are going to be interested and excited to spend 30 bucks to see stuff so new and exciting.  The WoO is toast.  There is a new guy with an even bigger rule book in town.  The Chinese are even talking about it.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I can't see this flying unless tons of money is spent. Ohio is saturated with weekly sprint car racing with the Outlaws when they are in the area, The all stars and speedweek,The NRA, The fast series, the weekly shows, and this new series. And to pay the equall purse as the All Stars? Thats a tough show to market to pay the purse when you can see the same drivers at a local non sanctioned show. Could be interesting but its asking the fans for alot!

I have a feeling that the All Stars won't be around much longer if this series gets the support it needs. I know that has been said before but from the sounds of it a lot of the drivers are fed up with not getting payment. If this Renegade series truely goes head to head with the All Stars such as same purse per race, better schedule, point fund, tow money, sponsors then more than likely most of the drivers will join that series. What is the point in having a point fund when you do not pay the driver? If things end up going to plan and they get sponsorship then the track promoters may very well end up telling the All Stars, sorry not interested in paying your sanctioning fee and scheduling you. If the series works in conjunction with the FAST series and weekly shows that Attica/Fremont/Atomic/Wayne County/etc have then it should not be a problem. Some weekly racers may even want to travel with the series if the schedule is good. Finally I dont think this will be strictly an Ohio Series. They will probably be in Ohio, Western PA, maybe Central PA and some Indiana/Michigan tracks. If you have drivers like Kemenah, Wilson, Hannagan and maybe Holtgraver Shaffer Blaney Haud and others jump ship then what does that leave the All Stars? I just dont see why any of them would stay if the money is there and the schedule is better.

What this new series has against them is the track promoters. When the NST and USA sprint series had a problem with is when you start booking the races for next year they schedule the dates and they are up in the air about what to do. They have the proven shows and now are the fans gonna do something else

The usa and nst had a battle and so will the renegade. The tracks are the ones that have to make a very costly decison.

Not impressed with the release.

They basically have an idea, still a lot of TBD, no foresight, no innovation. Sounds like a good group of guys, but it's going to take more than the same old same old. Name change is not enough.

You are actually comparing the current state of the ASoC to the Outlaws and challenges from USA and the NST? When did the Outlaws ever bring just two cars to a track or have a team owner/driver come right out and say in the media that they got nothing from the point fund?

The All-Stars used to be a fine series. Right now, it is a pathetic joke.

compairing the outlaws to the ascoc is good since the outlaws teamed up with 13 co sactioned races with the ascoc the yr of the nst to boost the car count at the woo shows ya think the woo will return the favor lol.  and the same ones putting the ascoc down are the same ones that said how great the ascoc were doing during speedweek. no matter what happens its still about putting butts in the seats cause without butts in the seats there wont be any races where its this seriers or that series. cause the race tracks dont care who you are if you make them money
