I'm looking for photos that I can purchase of old tracks that no longer are running. Preferably from Oklahoma but any state will be great.

Are ya just wanting pics of the track itself or with cars racing on it?.

I'd like to have some of just the tracks. I have another thread on the general forum just basically stating what I'm doing. I asked if there were any old tracks that are no longer running that still at least resemble a track that I could take some photos of, get information on and post for everyone to see. I've had wonderful feedback on it. So far I've went out to Tulsa Speedway (haven't gotten my pictures developed yet but I'll post them as soon as I do) I've started to get the ball rolling on Cimarron Raceway and I have a fairly long list of other tracks. Some that I can think of off the top of my head are -

Vera - Yahola Speedway - Buddy Cagle Raceway (but have heard there's little to nothing left) - Dewey Speedway - One in Kiefer - Salina Highbanks (it hasn't been closed for long but it'll be nice to get pictures before it gets overgrown or sold) - Cherokee Chief's Speedway - One near Coffeyville - Stateline Speedway - and a few others that I have general directions to but no names.

I really appreciate everyone's help I never imagined there were so many.

It hasn't been that long ago that Bud Purkey promoted and maybe owned Stateline Speedway.
