Getting questions about criteria. It's past accomplishments, current performance, competition, big races won, championships. Also, drivers must be active. Tough list. Some very good guys are just outside the top 25. We will have an honorable mention at the end.

That's not a bad idea. I already started it, but maybe in the middle of this thing I bring out that honorable mention list. We will see.

After tonight, I hope the Black Bandit Stevie Smith is well within the top 25 although he's a "part-time" PA Posse driver...with a little bit of All-Star thrown in the mix...he was just a "top 5 outlaw driver" almost 15 years ago...or as quoted!! :-)

Just thinking out loud here...if you did it after the top 25, everyone could pretty easily guess who the honorable mentions were, if you did it maybe in the middle or next, people would be left wondering who you put in the top 25...which means more people would be clicking on and reading your articles.

I like that idea. Contemplating when to do it. I may do it before I start the top 15. That way, I get into it a little. That, or I may do it before I start the top 20.

difficult for me to have an opinion when I only know 1 driver on the list. I definitely believe that David is one of the 25 best winged sprint car drivers in this country, but without seeing who's ranked above him, and who didn't make the cut, the most I can say really is that I agree with you.
