Huset's defends the home turf in their only visit (and not in 6 shows like the Grove).
From 10th.
That's 1.000 in baseball terms.
Dobmeier kicked their ass and earned it tonight. 3rd career WoO win and 2nd at the bullring.
More to come in your local Big J Report when the dust settles and we all get through the work day.

Props to Dobmeier and props to Big J for the truth. Everyone wants to rag on the Knoxville regulars but truth is every Outlaw driver has more experience on Knoxville due to biggest sprint car race in the world happening there. It's not a gimmick track like the paperclip in Mechanicsburg, and well, they've held their own everywhere else (CA and PA included).

I must have missed where last night's results had anything to do with Williams Grove...lol
Congrats to Dobmeier. One of the "good guys"

Yes Dobmeier was dominant for most of the race... however, Schatz was all over him at the end. A yellow flag and Schatz wins hands down. Credit to Dobmeier, but it was hardly as much of an ass kicking as you are trying to make it out to be (obviously you are trying to stir up controversy with the posse).

You have to be in order to beat the big dogs on a bull ring like that. Congrats to Dobs and Husets on what sounded like a hell of a race. Dobs holds off a charging Schatz and wins from 10th with Madsen coming from 19th to finish 3rd.

One of the best races I've seen. Place went nutty when he got by Swindell.

Congrats to Mark on the win @ Huset's
No front row winner here (Mark from 10th & Kerry Madsen - 19th to 3rd)
Looking forward to the All Stars Circuit coming to Huset's 2 & 3 weeks from this Sunday (July 20 & 27)
Thumbs up to Huset's for getting the program finished at a reasonable time, especially after last year's fiasco

To have the lead at half way and starting 10th, you have to be kicking some ass. And only one caution in the race.
Yes, Schatz was coming and knew not to force the issue late as he had everything to lose (his own words). Dobmeier's tire was gone with the way he used it to get the lead.

I guess some of the Husets fans have taken classes at posse U in the art of attaching more importance to one race and calling a close victory an "ass whooping". BRR and Cubes would give this at least a B+. Haha

Never seen a local guy catch Outlaws like Dobmier did last night - Sweet, Saldana, Kinser, Schatz, Swindell and others. Picked them off one or two at a time and handled the lapped traffic like a pro. Catching Outlaws like that he needs a nickname - how about "Dobs the Bounty Hunter"?

BIG J hit the nail on the head. I think the reason the 15 caught Dobs at the end was due to tire wear. I suppose you could argue that Schatz was being smart and taking better care of his tires, but Dobs had to use them up to get to the front. Maybe the 13 would have been more conservative but I'm sure he didn't think he would have the lead by halfway.
It was an ass-kicking nonetheless. Dynamite style!

Personally, I thought the first way he passed Sammy was impressive enough, three wide and on the outside as they split a lapped car.
