There were a couple people asking about a possible tire fund for the Knoxville Nationals for Robert Bell again this year. Last year, Tanner Krysl from Texas coordinated an effort to do so, and while his goal was to get a right rear for Robert, he collected enough to get the Urban Legend a full set of new Hoosiers! This year, Tanner and I have teamed up to do it bigger and better this year. Our goal is to raise enough money for a new set of tires, a second right rear for the Saturday night finale at the Nationals, to fund shirts (that Tanner will design and print) to sell to raise even more money (this can continue even after the Nationals for Robert to make a little more money on shirt sales), and to have money left over for fuel, maintenance, and other expenses that Robert may encounter throughout the Nationals and the rest of 2014. Anything that we raise will go directly to this effort. This is just something Tanner and I are doing to help out one of the most dedicated drivers you will ever meet.
You can donate money via PayPal to [email protected], or if you would like to donate a tire yourself, please contact Tanner or myself here on Hoseheads or on Twitter via one of the following accounts: @tannerkrysl, @jsimp96, @DirtTrackTweets, or @RobertBellFund.
Also, we are looking at getting some companies to come on board to advertise on the back of the shirts, as a way to raise additional money. If you are interested in getting your company name on these shirts, contact Tanner or I in one of the ways listed above.
Thanks so much!

I have to say I agree. I'd be more willing to kick in a few bucks if I knew he would be on the track. Maybe Vande77 or one of the guys from the K-ville area could find out what Robert needs to get his motor running again. Tires won't be any good if he has to push it around the track!

I don't think he's even been to Knoxville since he lost his motor early in the season.
I hope he makes it back, but I would imagine someone up in hte Colfax area would have a better chance of running into him than those of us doen here....

Agreed. Does anyone know if Robert will be ready for the Nationals? If not, surely there is something else we can do for him to help him out! Someone suggested to me today that he may be done with sprint cars and is possibly going the midget route. I can neither confirm nor deny this, but I'd sure like to help Robert out whatever the case may be.

Robert Bell is on Facebook he is on there all the time. That would be the best way to find out if he will be ready. Jaymie moyle is the one who puts his engine together and also does the tires at the track. Moyles shop number is 641-828-7303. hell if you contact him he may give you a deal on the tires because it for a good cause.

I will be in contact with Robert and figure out what his plans are. But regardless if he is running Nationals or not, I don't think we should stop just because he won't be racing one race. We can keep raising money, keep getting tires, keep working toward shirts because he isn't going to be done forever. That's why he needs this help, because he can't make it out there weekly the way it is.
Sure it doesn't look all that great if we raise all this money and he doesn't race, but we have to keep in mind what we're trying to do and why we're doing it. We can try to raise money before Nationals start to get him out there!
We just have to keep at it. If we raise this money and he still doesn't race, so what? He will eventually. And we're doing this so he can race. This is for him!
Never give up. Robert wouldn't. Robert hasn't.

Looks like 212 boiling point bar brandon sd has a barrel of fuel, a tire, and cash so far for Robert. Check out their facebook page for up to date totals.
