People want to talk about formats and tires and a whole bunch of other stuff, but the most important issue in this sport is money. When a fan in the stands makes more than 2nd place at the WoO race, you know theres something wrong.

Have you ever been to the Nationals? Each night at Knoxville the winner of the 50/50 takes home close to what the winner of that night gets with the exception of the final night. On Saturday night it still ends up being around 5th place money in the A. I do not have a problem seeing high 50/50 because the other half of that money is usually going to a good cause.

I've always thought it would be a cool idea to have the other half of the 50/50 to go to the winner at local shows once a year at Williams Grove, Attica, Knoxville, KWS, etc.

I went to the Chilibowl in 1999 or 2000... on Thursday night the 50-50 winner got 6 grand and change....the friday night winner got something like 8900, and the Saturday night winner got over $11,000... Went back the next year and there was no 50-50 drawing held.... I have a feeling the city, county or state got their panties in a wad over so much cash changing hands without any tax revenue happening.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.
