I'll debate on behalf of Lincoln...SteelCityGuy can debate on behalf of Port...
After all, SCG was a masterdebater all the way back to his days on the Grove board... :/
Opinions may vary...

Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD

In all fairness, the reason the invaders choose Port is because there is no handicapping system.

First let me say I like both tracks. If you want to know why Fans prefer Lincoln, watch a replay of the 7/4/13 Speedweek race and you will see why. I choose Lincoln because it is 20 min from home, I hit the bigger shows at Port. It would be great if their was a way that they didnt have to go against each other, but it is what it is. Most people I talk with hands down say Lincoln is better racing week in and week out.

Got a spot in my heart for the Grove and Port, but there's more racin at Lincoln on one Saturday night then in a whole season at the big tracks.
Jeremey - your work is great. Thank you!

I have been to both tracks hundreds of times. I used to go to Port religously until the racing started to get stale there around 1996. Then weekly I would drive past Port and went to Lincoln almost weekly (except for special Port races) until about 2011. The racing at Lincoln at that time was not very good either. Now I prefer Port because of the variety in the schedule and because it seems almost every week there is an invader or two or three that show up. Yes , it's because of the draw system over the handicapping format. But to me , I just like seeing different drivers/divisions over the same old , same old event. As far as racing being better at each track , yes , it may be closer action at Lincoln over Port , but , when you put the cars on a smaller track , at slower sppeds , the racing will "look" closer , but its not truthfully "better". If a 410 has a 3 second lead at Lincoln , how many yards ahead is he? If a 410 has a 3 second lead at Port how many yards ahead is he? Either way it's still 3 seconds.

Well then, it looks like we all agree, the racing is superior at Lincoln...

Who wants to show up to a track knowing that you have no shot whatsoever at gracing victory lane...? :/
The alternative...?...Cherry pick Port...

If you like to see wrecks go to lincoln speedway...............some guy last weeek posted ,the reason I go to lincoln speedway is because krimes came from 13 place to win , but he failed to state 9 cars ahead of him either dropped out or wreckeddddddd..............he said port royal winner came off the front row, well start dale blaney on the front row at lincoln and see where he finishes the race

I think they should handicap the first 8 drivers in the A-main, high average point guy starts 8th, n second high starts 7th and low average starts 1st of the top 8 in average points ,that qualify for that particular nite in the heat races, at port royal,it actually would make a better race, back when I first started going to port royal(in the 1960 s)the fast guys started way back not to far in front of the consi cars, but I dont agree with that, need to keep the inexperienced drivers out of the fast mix, so they dont cause wrecks,if I remember right I think the top 10 in points all raced in the same heat race at port royal.

First off, what constitutes great racing? Because if it is limited to passing back and forth, go the nearest highway, sit on the bank and watch the traffic go by. Speed and "Wow" factor have to come into play at super quick and treacherous Port Royal. I have nothing against the racing at Lincoln or Port Royal, however, just because Dale Blaney won from the front row doesn't mean it wasn't good. There was plenty of racing back through the field, and watching Blaney dissect traffic was impressive.

I'll take Lincoln, SSP and Path Valley over Williams Grove, Port and Selinsgrove each and every week...
