(Oxnard, CA. 2-7-14) On Saturday February 15, Ventura Raceway will hold an open practice session for all automotive competitors planning on competing at its Ventura County Fairgrounds Facility in 2014. Pits will open at 12 Noon. This will be the first practice session before The new season begins for cars on March 8. A second practice session is scheduled for February 22 and will follow a similar format.
The Tentative Format for the event will be:
12 Noon Pits Open and Tech Sessions Begin: All participants will have their vehicles go through tech prior to going onto the track.
1:00-2:00 Kids Classes Practice
2:00 Drivers Meeting/Track Prep
2:00-8:00 Tune and Test sessions with one or two similar type cars on track at a time for rest of the event.
Admission Prices:
Adult Pit Pass: $35.00
Child Class Pit Pass: 20.00
Grandstand Spectators: Free
