I love endurance sports car racing, therefore I love the 24 Hours of Daytona race. I can't wait to see one of our outlaws hop into one of those power Daytona Prototypes! He's going to have the best car/equipment under him (with a Ford EcoBoost motor) and he's got Indy 500 winner Tony Kanaan, current IndyCar champion Scott Dixon and sports car driver Marino Franchitti (Dario's brother) as his teammates. So he's got a really good chance at winning.
And wouldn't it be something if he were to win the Chili Bowl and then go on to win the 24 Hours of Daytona the next weekend? I can't wait!

We should all accept that we're not surprised by any thing this young man steps into. The sky's the limit when you have that much talent and poise! Congratulations Kyle. Wearing a Rolex? They are actually pretty heavy, for a watch! I wouldn't presume to act like I have one, but I put Clyde Lamar's on once just playing around for a second.

He'll yeah I'm excited, can't wait to see him cross the finish line with the right rear missing, on fire and getting the checkers! Lol

I'm just nervous about the Ford EcoBoost lasting the full race. Both Ganassi and Michael Shank Racing (the two teams running Ford's) have been having some reliability issues with the engine during testing. That engine has to last the full 24 hours or you're screwed. Hopefully the kinks are all worked out by race time.

It will air on Fox Sports 1 (formerly known as SPEED Channel) and Fox Sports 2. In years past they have shown the night time section of the race on Speed Channel's website with the MRN broadcast for audio. Not sure if the night time section will be a similar arrangment this year or if it will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2.

Here's hoping Kyle's first 24 is better than Smoke's first 24!

Its like taking a gun to a knife fight. I'd much rather see him at Path Valley.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
