Not sure how many of you are actually familiar with this name but here it goes.  James has been over here in the states the last couple of years and is probably the best driver you've never heard of.  He is now taking the wheel behind the 3G of Joe Gaerte this summer after his Australian season is over.  He has been driving the 55 that we saw Shaffer driving at the World Finals.  I see this as an upgrade for James, the Gaerte car was strong with Shane Stewart in it part-time.

Am I the only one that feels this way? I see McFadden really stepping his game up over here next season.  Maybe a win or two on the WoO tour or an A-Main nationals performance.

McFadden is a talent and has been raved on here multiple times. I think he'll get both a WoO A main win and a Nationals A main appearance this upcoming summer. He had a PA Speedweek race this year all but won but he had some trouble with a lapped car. Every time I've seen the 3G it's been lethal, hope they take it out of Ohio though for the showcase races.

My most recent column here said basically the same thing. Having more seat time here in the states will just speed up the learning curve. He is quite the talent.

Pretty sure you stole the line "Best driver you've never heard of " from an article about Geoff Ensign on dirt dogs. Fact!

This kid is full of talent and is awesome to watch, he reminds me of a Haud or TK when the track is heavy/rough or a nice big cushion, but is also good on a dryslick track, he's able to use the throttle/brake smoothly, a joy to watch!

Ive heard of J-Mac. I've followed the World Series Sprintcars the past few seasons. Mc Fadden is one of the biggest stars down under. He wins alot of their races, and is the WSS defending champion. He will do well in the Gaerte 3G

I was really impressed with him 2 years ago at the Nationals. He ran well every time he was on the track. Just some bad luck kept him from some good finishes. He is real fun to watch and I wish him all the best this coming season.

Pretty sure the term "best (insert noun here) you've never heard of" has been around long before Geoff Esign ever used it, and Ive been aware of mcfadded since knoxville a year ago, followed him in the wss last season and was just askin if everyone thought the 3g was a  better ride. Just asking, i know stewart runs well in iy but he runs well in a lot of cars. I havent personally seen the car since joe brought it to knoxville last

Didn't he win the dash at an outlaw show at Peevely last year and then it got rained out and rescheduled for later in the year when he wasn't planning on being in the states or when he was scheduled to be at Knoxville or something? I remember a discussion about a makeup feature at I55 that said he was supposed to start on the front row but may not be able to be there...am I remembering correctly?

Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Pretty sure that phrase has been around longer than Ensign has been.

With 8 Feature wins and i think only 3 finishes off of the podium so far this Aussie season, i personally would be hoping that Steven Lines makes the trip to the states in 2014

James is bad fast! watched him at Pevely 2 years ago, he defintely was the man to beat, he was to start on the front row of the iron man 55 but the race got rained out and the remake was when James was over in Australia running. I hope to get to watch him more next year now that he's in the gaerte 3g!! Hope he comes back to pevely.

Linsey is badass in a sprint car, he is awesome to watch, would love to see him make the jump across the pond, Brian funded the WoO team for madsen for a year or two and also had one of his sons over for a bit, would be sweet to see Brian bring Linsey over for this upcoming season! He is also a great guy to talk to, real humble and all around nice guy!
