Bay Cities Racing Association, Inc. releases 2014 Midget Division Schedule.

Tracy, CA - Marking the 75th year of operation in 2014 Bay Cities Racing Association Midget Division will begin it season on March 21, 2014 at the Stockton 99 dirt Speedway as part of the World of Outlaws weekend. The 21-race season continues through October traveling to 10 different racetracks running both Pavement and Dirt.

March 21st Stockton 99 – Dirt Track
March 29th Madera Speedway – with USAC
April 12th Stockton 99 – Pavement
April 26th Placerville Speedway
May 3rd Madera Speedway – with USAC
May 10th Ukiah Speedway
May 17th Stockton 99 – Dirt Track
June 7th Madera Speedway – with USAC
June 14th Petaluma Speedway
June 27th Silver Dollar Speedway
June 28th Orland Speed Bowl
July 5th Lakeport Speedway – Lyndell Memorial Race
July 12th Madera Speedway – with USAC Gerhardt Classic
July 19th Hanford Speedway – ***
August 2nd Placerville Speedway – Jack London Bash/Hall of Fame Picnic
August 9th Petaluma Speedway – Soares Classic ***
August 23rd Placerville Speedway
September 4th Silver Dollar Speedway – Gold Cup Week *** (Thursday Night Show)

Ten pavement races? That's crazy. Pavement races draw enough midgets for one heat race, but a lot of the dirt track races have had 20 cars or more the last couple years. I don't understand why any organization would run half of its races at tracks where almost no competitors show up.
