Since Im a recovering alcoholic (drunkard ) my girlfriends son is gay and my Exwife is a marriage terrorist i feel im qualified to bring up the subject. What do ya think about this whole big shit storm about duck dynasty ?  Yea i know its not a sprint or midget subject but hey everybody thinks were all a bunch of hick rednecks anyway !

It is forbidden to say anything against the gay community. Personally I think Duck Dynasty is stupid, but living here in LaLa land, if it's a hit and coining money, what's not to like? For now, perversity rules and you better keep your mouth shut. So just hang on, because morality and common sense will always win.

ya know, at first I didnt watch the show, my wife became a fan almost immediately after it aired for the first time, so thus, i observed its humor a couple episodes, just like anything else it was mildly attractive and a new flavor, something new to bite into mind you, heck there is alot of garbage on TV now days, slowly it began to make sence,  the storyline was almost always the same adventourous redneck humor and a "feel good" value added to family and accepting them they way they are.. kinda makes you accept your family more? why not, the Robertsons can accept each other and thier all kinda quirky in thier own special way.. I honestly Hoped the show would remain semi unaltered and the noticeable points to a scrip wouldnt shine thro, Highly unlikely, Just like Hollywood, they never know when too much is too much, they push the popular beyond tolerable levels, the plublic has to take a step back hopefully nothing offends anyone in the meantime for a rebound. DD didnt need money from A&E, they tripped into stardom and rode the cash wave for as long as the silver screen would tolerate thier beliefs or they found a exit route, my understanding was there was some hiccups before this latest anti gay birgade, Im 90% sure Phil's words were taken from context and twisted or repeaded by anybody that was for or aft the words presented.. sure they own guns, they kill things, they proubly drink,eat,swear,,fart,and kiss, pretty sure they put thier pants on one leg at a time like I do Phils generation is much more apposed to Gay rights as mine, i dont dislike him,nor gays, its just a different belief and time he grew up in, Jessus didnt wear Nike shoes either, im sure he would of had he known thier comfort.... to each his own.. you dont bother me, I will not bother you.. A&E will be eating thier words , they should have just turned the other cheek, who on this forum hasnt let a senior have the floor in respect to his age.. sometimes there is a time and place, A&E could have payed thier attounies 12 times over again with the $$ funded from the popularity of Duck Dynasty.. the real question here is, which network is going to pick them up? let the $$$ war begin.

OMG, yep, gotta say it. I stayed tuned when there was a carriage race advertised, I was pretty sure M Kinser was going to return on the sceen in that one,.. what a letdown, I havent watched since..

with everything going on in this world that people should stand up against and causes to rally behind, it boggles my mind that something like a multi millionaire being suspended from a stupid show is what gets people fired up....wtf?

christian or not, the dude is your typical bigot..and that's fine, he can be whatever he wants... but the bottomline is when you are employed by someone and you make public comments that can reflect negatively on your employer, they have the right to suspend or fire you... what is the controversy? because he calls himself a christian, he's allowed to be a bigot? 

i'm fairly certain the majority of everyone in this country who works for a decent sized company would not make these type of comments infront of the owner/ceo of your employer...

I don`t care if you like the show are not, that`s not the issue, he was talking about what Phil said in an interview, but for me the man was just talking about his life and is life growing up. I have no problem with what he said, doesn`t bother me either way. But for those out there that walk on water...you have your mind made up, so it doesn`t really matter.
