Which track is the largest?
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Selinsgrove is the biggest it's listed as a 1/2 mile in the Speedway directory, but it is more like 5/8ths.

So all of this I here about these big horsepower tracks in PA. Between the PAS, Calistoga, and I believe Stockton we have high speed tracks that are as large or larger.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

The PAS is a 3/8 and Stockton is a 1/4...
I realize that they advertise the PAS as a 1/2, but the size is grossly over promoted.
Calistoga, the only true 1/2 mile, features a terrible racing surface.
The 1/2 mile tracks in PA, such as Williams Grove, Port Royal, Selinsgrove, etc., are true 1/2 mile tracks and typically produce side-by-side racing.
Nice try though!

You haven't been to stoga lately. Because the Louie vermille race was one of the best I've seen in awhile. The track has a new surface and the whole facility has been upgraded.

Sorry Selinsgrove is bigger than a half mile. If I remember correctly. BigRightRears sig. lists the racing grove measurements, and not the tracks actual size. Even so Selinsgroves racing grove is bigger than a half mile.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

The private sector has something better, it's called a job...
At any rate, Bedford appears larger than any I've seen in Pa...
Opinions may vary...

In case you haven't noticed, the vast majority of manufacturing jobs have been shipped overseas by your beloved private sector. Now almost everything we buy is made in "Communist" China. THANKS, private sector!

at all tracxks listed in the signature, we measure the inside and outside raceable grooves after racing stopped for the night - added the two together and divded by 2 to get the mean distance. the number represent the average distance travelled in a full lap.
for years people disputed these measurements until along came google earth and they were verified from the online measurement tools.
if want a third opinion, measureing wheels are not expensive and you only need to walk the track twice to get both distances.
