I would say because he is a WOO Platinum member. He can't race any ASCS races until the WOO season is complete.

are we sure about the above post. platinum member? things have changed in three years since ive attended, sammy, sides to name a few. maybe that's where sides got in to deep chit maybe?
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Sammy and Sides were NOT platinum members when they ran the STNs. Sammy was running an actual OUTLAW schedule when he won in '11. Sides was at odds with WOO when he ran the race. Sides got in trouBle for running Donny Schatz's race in ND. Platinum members are not permited to run ASCS races, this was the reason for the Platinum membership.

This is not a true statement. The WOO has no such rule. They have a time/distance rule and this year's short track nationals violates neither one.
pauly posted on twitter why he isn't available and it had nothing to do with the outlaws. Also, Sammy will be there.

I could be wrong but I believe the distance and the time pertains to tracks that the WOO run on their schedule. I-30 isn't on the WOO schedule. Maybe JG can chime in and help us out.

All the more reason why sanctioning bodies are a joke. Love the WoO, attended the first race at Devils Bowl and will be back at the Bowl in 2014 to watch really great drivers put on a really great show. But the irony of the Outlaws not letting their guys run where ever they want while not interfering with the sactioning body is bat-shit crazy!

Isn`t the short track national a week or two before the outlaws last races? F*** the world racing group. You should not have to ask for permission to race when that is what you do for a living. World racing group is too controlling!

My $.02 is...... I can see sticking to their rule when they have shows scheduled every week. But why make a driver sit and wait 4 weeks between the NY show and Charlotte? Maybe the "Platinum Members" can find part time jobs stocking shelves at Big Lots until the World Finals....people have to eat!!!!

If every WoO held out next year til that stupid ruling got changed, well it would be changed. But we all know that wont happen as it requires making a stand. Reminds me of the country we live in at the moment allowing Obama to run rough shot over us and we take it without so much as a kiss. Crazy!! In both cases, weak hearts and minds rule the day. What happen to "US"???

If two of the top 10 are registered who are they? You said it, now post the names. I'm pretty sure you are just speculating and don't want to post the names and be WRONG. I'm not saying you are wrong, just post.
