Machado Motor Sports to display new sprint car this Saturday at Placerville Fresh Mex Restaurant

PLACERVILLE, CA – Machado Motor Sports and DSR Graphics and Signs of Cameron Park wish to invite race fans to Fresh Mex Restaurant in the Prospector Plaza Shopping Center this Saturday, July 28 from 12 to 3 p.m. The event will allow race fans to view Troy Machado's newly designed #5 winged sprint car that will be display through the lunch time hours and allow race fans to check out the extensive menu that Fresh Mex has to offer.

Fresh Mex features authentic Mexican Food for diners on the go. Each dish is prepared to order in front of the customer from the finest ingredients at a reasonable price. The area restaurant is a proud sponsor of both Troy and Doug Machado for the 2007 racing season.

In the parking lot of Fresh Mex, race fans can get a preview of Troy Machado's recently redesigned sprint car that will be in competition the same evening when the El Dorado County New Car Dealer's, Hoosier Racing Tires championship season returns to Placerville Speedway located on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.

Over the recent two week break from competition, Machado's race underwent a complete make over courtesy of team sponsor DSR Graphics and Signs in Cameron Park. Owner Dan Ramey takes great pride in the graphic design and lettering of all types of race cars. The former stock car racer himself also provides all types of services ranging from signs, vehicle lettering, magnetics and much more.

Additional drivers that are sponsored by DSR Graphics and Signs include Pro Stock drivers Wayne Trimble, Del Tremblay, David Brown, Danielle Clauson, Britt McMains, B.J. Hauck. Roseville racers Jon Cummins Rich Lindgren and Rick Anderson. Winged sprint car drivers that are sponsored by the company include defending track champion Greg DeCaires, Jimmy Trulli, Billy Butler, Chad Compton, Dan Gooder, Jeremy Burt as well as USAC driver Shauna Hogg and Skagit racer Chris Pattenaude. Wingless drivers that carry the DSR style and sponsorship include Jake Servin, Bobby Nichols and Brad Virga.

Take pictures of it there, cause once it hits the track it'll never look the same!

When was the last time he actually completed a lap in a feature? He was front and center in the June 30th first-lap pileup:

When the inversions were announced, I could hear people in the stands around me grow visibly worried over Machado being up front...he was the freaking polesitter! - and he managed to spin out on the first start attempt, then wrecked in the second one.
