I'm curious because I didn't stay but, did they give Jeff Rine the pole as well... :/
Opinions may vary...

Cochran won the LM's over Frye and Rine. Pancho started on the pole.

Usually a fan on Selinsgrove but that was probably one of the most boring races I have ever watched. Not really any passing throughout the field at all besides the top 5 guys, and they all finished where they started. Anytime the same guy leads all 44 laps of a race its usually pretty boring, and there was never a challenge for the lead. You could watch them going into turn one and be able to tell the exact cars coming back around in order.
Starting order- 410 Feature: Dewease-Cannon; Hodnett-Rahmer; Stevie Smith-Leppo; Erdley-Deitrich; Stutts-Marks; Mark Smith-Buckwalter; Monteith-Ott; Zearfoss-Allen; Lafferty-Keller; Layton-Schuchart; Nate Snyder-Heimbach; Ryan SMith-Anderson
Finish- Cannon; Rarhmer; Dewease; Hodnett; Stevie, Ott, Marks, Layton, Erdley, Buckwalter Deitrich was running 8 when something happened which was right where he started. Ott was the only one to progress.

It sucks when the guy who starts on the pole leads every lap but I thought Rahmer, Stevie, Hodnett and Dewease mixed it up pretty good. Stevie was up to second and Rahmer back to 6th at one point. Rahmer was catching Cannon at the end but Cannon got through the lapped cars better.

I guess you didn't see Rahmer and Hodnett fall back at the and see Leppo who started 6th go to second after 3 laps. He was really fast. By about lap 15 or 16 Rahmer who fell back to about 6 or 7th and then when he passed Hodnett that put Hodnett in that spot and Rahmer really didn't want to see that caution on lap 24....he was really fast at that point. Stevie was up to 3rd battling for second before sliding back to 5th. That was a good race multiple grooves to race on and if Rahmer would have forced the issue with the lapped car and Cannon he probably would have won. They were really mixing it up from 2nd to 6th or 7th spot. I wish Leppo wouldn't have dropped out because he might of had something for Cannon.....but we will never know!! There were at least 2...but I think 3 straight laps where 3rd, 4th, and 5th went 3 wide into the turn 3....when Rahmer was marching forward. You can't ask for the track to be in any better condition than that. I really don't care who won as I don't cheer for anyone anymore. I am sorry but that was a pretty good feature....and some of the best heat races I have seen all year except for Knoxville
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

I certainly wasn't disappointed, but then again, I would never go to Selinsgrove with anything but low expectations...

Stan the Hater!! Did "they" put Rine on the pole? Oh boy...another conspiracy theory! Actually it was a pretty good race...there was slicing and dicing and passing all over the place. Week in and week out...Selinsgrove has some of the best racing around! Man...the Big Half Mile is fast!!!!
