Can anyone help me understand? What is the differance between 6 pin wheels (rear) and splined wheels? Can 6 pin be used on splined rear ends? are 6 pins something new or have they been around and what rear end would you use with them? Thanks RED

Red, six pin wheels are old technology. To run six pins you needed a hub that slid onto the splines of the axle with a pressure plate that sandwiched the wheel. They were replaced with wheels that had a splined center to save weight and give more adjustment possibilities. You could still use six pins on a new rear end if you have the hubs and pressure plates. Hope this helps.
