i've said it all week, everybody kept sayin this guy or that guy is gonna win but when you can drive by the entire field like they are runnin a 6 cylinder you will never lose. It still amazes me how year in and year out they miss the setup on qualifying night but when saturday night comes around they mysteriously NEVER miss the setup. Nobody can be this dominant in this day and age. I know he has best crew chief in the business bar none but nobody can be that dominant. If he had done this since day 1 like Steve did it would be a little more believable but for the first 9 years of his career he was an also ran and then overnight started dominating like never before so I it is a little fishy lookin to me. You can call me a goof or poor sport or whatever you want but that is the way I see it.

I will admit I am extremely competitive and can be a poor sport but it just amazes me how 1 man can consistently year in and year out be a half a second a lap faster than the best drivers in the world. Sure wish he would have been around in the 70's and 80's. That would answer a lot of peoples questions.

He is good...but...you have to have a LOT of luck to go with it.  No flat tire, no sour motor...which all play into results.  He's due  for some of that.

I agree name one sport or team that has been that dominte in the last 10 years? With todays over the counter parts one would think that someone else would hit the set up atleast once. If you can name one team or sport please let me know. Real fishy!!!

That's the beauty of racing.  You don't have to lead them all, just the last one.  Schatz paced himself for 50 laps, knowing he would be there at the end.  He is a big-track specialist whose year peaks at this time annually, which just happens to be where the money and prestige is.

He couldn't move forward all week leading up to the A... Then magically he passes 20 cars like they are standing still on a track taking rubber where everyone is having problems getting bite.  For the good of the sport they need to take that car apart piece by piece and let an independent group of pros look it over.

Taking rubber and problems getting bite seem a little contradictory to me?

Brown's car wasn't the same after the fuel stop.Don't know what happened but it looked like he was having to back way out of it coming off of 2 to keep it out of the fence, then coming off of 4 he was having to shake the car loose to get it to turn off the corner.Whatever it was it was consistantly bad and the same way every lap.The car looked great before the stop.
