Whether he got "chopped" or not it's nothing he wouldn't have done to anyone else and neither one of them made it out of the B so big effing deal.

So what you're saying is because Schatz DNQ (10th in points after night 1, pry not good enough to get in) so has no chance as well??? What about Friday night show, which he said he should be able to run or B main Saturday night??? Onward Larson!!!!
Kid is a stud and has talent, can't deny that, and can't win everything and when you don't haters jump on it!

Schatz has been at the top of the mountain several times and has won from deep before. Let's not try to lump him in with Larson when it comes to sprint car racing and specifically, the Nationals. He's earned the right to be considered a favorite year-in and year-out. Did he have the night he wanted? Absolutely not. But he's far from out of the picture taking this thing. Do we just forget two years ago when Schatz started 13th and sliced through the field and had the lead before midway point?
Larson does have a lot of talent, but has had a really weak Southern Iowa Speedweek so far. He's ran well in the 360 but his two 410 performances have left a lot to be desired. And when a ton of people on here pick him to win the Nationals when he's not done a ton at Knoxville and he proceeds to drop the ball on qualifying night, they're going to hear about it. Not a surprise there.

Me thinks Larson junked the 410 Nationals car at twin features night. He was unbelievably fast before he broke a right rear stop perhaps it was and bent the frame. This car doesn't quite look the same

I wasn't necessarily saying Larson was equal to Schatz, I was just saying that it was mentioned Larson will not win nationals and I was pointing out that there are still opportunities to get into the 50 lapper and as long as you are in you have a shot. I've been at Knoxville multiple times when Larson had been here this season and it seems the longer the race and the more track time he gets, the better he is late. I was just saying that Larson still had a shot at winning nationals, do I think he will pry not, but if he is in a car with 4 wheels and a motor, I wouldn't count him out.
Though I do agree I think his main nationals car was junked on twin features night. Car was bad fast and yes, he was going to pass Dobmeier to win the second feature after starting towards the back.

Be careful sir.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
