DARLAND TAKES INDIANA SPRINT WEEK TITLE; CLAYTON WINS TRI-STATE FINALE

Haubstadt, Ind.......Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind. is the 2007 Lucas Oil Indiana Sprint Week champion and Daron Clayton won Saturday's 30-lap finale at Tri-State Speedway. Darland finished 11th in the 30-lap series finale to beat Jon Stanbrough by 18 points and Levi Jones by 24 for his third ISW championship.

Clayton won the 30-lap race in his Hoosier Tire/Weld Wheels DRC/Claxton, passing Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on lap 23 and leading to the checkered flag. Stenhouse, who led the first 22 laps, finished second ahead of Chad Boespflug, Stanbrough and Dustin Morgan.

Darland, car owner, Pace Brothers Racing, emerged as the ISW car owner champion.

Seven drivers flipped during Saturday night's action but there were no driver injuries.

They used the number to guarantee him a spot in the main with a CRA provisional.
