Correct, he is an absolute jackass who needs to leave his shit at home before he seriously hurts someone or himself, out of control and DEEP pockets, not a good combo in this sport, usually ends with an injury unfortunately

A whole bunch of $$$ but not much talent from where I sat Saturday night. Robert Bell blew by him in the B-main like he was standing still (and I would imagine Robert's tires have 7-8 race nights on them).

Funny thing about guys that have lots of money and they THINK they KNOW how to race better than anyone else, just because they have a huge checkbook. And always make themselves look like a clueless jackass.
Racing Sprint Cars requires TWO BALLS to drive!
Racing anything else requires NONE!

Vande77,
That set of tires, have 5 nights on them, but they where used when we got them.
We probably could of passed Bob Weuve also, but where fighting a stumble on the starts with our 360.

Super Chuck's favorite Robert Bell story:
Knoxville Nationals 2005. Just happen to be walking by Robert's pits early in the evening, prior to the cars firing. Saw Mikey Keumper (at the time a Tony Stewart Motorsports crew member) pull up to Bell's pit area on a four wheeler and throw down a set of four, new Hoosier tires. Says, "From Dude. Good luck Robert." Robert gets a mile-wide grin, claps his hands and yells, "Mount 'em up boys! Now we got a shot!" So glad to witness that. Come to find out, that was the first time Robert ever had new skins all the way around.
Super Chuck

Here's another one Mr. Chuck, I've told it here before. I was at the Knoxville banquet a few years before your story, watching my buddy Randy Martin win the 360 Points Title. Early in the evening it was announced that there was to be a change in the thickness of walls for all sprint cars effective the next race season. This immediately made Roberts car illegal and he got up in front of the banquet and announced his retirement, to the chagrin of many as he is one of the most popular and likeable guys in their pits week after week. Cut to later in the evening when they were announcing the winners for the many chasis draws they hand out at season's end and lo and behold one of them is Robert Bell. Immediately Robert grabs the mike, standd up in front of everyone and announces the end to his retirement, biggest applause of the night hands down.....

haha, yeah... the Mav TV cameras were at Devil's Bowl for that, watched it on my DVR on Sunday. The track was really, really, really greasy & heavy all night long due to rain they had... put it to the mat and hold on!

I think that the Peterson Media that vowed to give Brandon Wimmer a 100 bucks for every Facebook like could try this for Robert Bell. C'mon now and lets see if its true .

Peterson Media is NOT the same people as the Shawn Peterson Print Place team. No affiliation at all. 4x is a blind squirrel perpetually looking for his lost nuts. He seems to have only one pedal that works which happens to be the throttle. One of the worst hacks to come along in some time and what makes it dangerous for the other racers is he has shit tons of cash to blow on wadded up equipment along with plenty of cash for powerful motors to send him smashing through the competition.
Cheers!

This has to be one of the best Robert Bell stories. Putting a car together in his mobile home, then having to cut a hole in the side to get it out. Love it!!!

Did I say it was!!!!! I know it is not the same but the stories of the inspiration and drive by Robert Bell is inspiring. And if this Perterson media thing is real then lets see if they would step up and be a National inspiration. I have seen 4X race and kept it full throttle under yellow 3 laps later kept it full throttle under yellow and ran over the right rear of another driver and flipped his end over end on the front straightaway and this was not the same wreck with Crawley.

At the Lone Star Nats last fall the final starting spot was to be filled by auctioning the spot. 4X bought his start for $4000. He ran a few laps and plowed the back wall. When he started running regional shows we tagged him "kamikaze", and boy were we correct! From another driver in the pits at Devil's Bowl I gathered that he was not responsive to other drivers suggestions to try to keep his car under control.
