Choose your tune-up shows this weekend!

At the Batesville Motor Speedway, where race one of the upcoming 4-race United States Modified Touring Series weekend (Southern Series edition which is averaging 55 cars per race in 2007!) that pays $3000 to win is set for this Thursday night, July 26th, weekly Friday night racing continues tonight with Modifieds headlining the show once again! Mark Martin Ford, Bad Boy Mowers and Larry Shaw Race Cars are sponsoring the upcoming USMTS weekend.

At Boothill Speedway outside of Shreveport, promoter Doug Ingalls Jr. is holding a special "Prelude to the Battle" tonight (Friday) with Modifieds headlining that card as well. Marshall Mobile Homes is one of the sponsors for next Sunday's USMTS Southern Series $2000 to win "Battle at Boothill" on July 29th -- the final Southern Series points race before "The Hunt" for the USMTS National Championship begins. The Southern Series will resume action in Clinton, Oklahoma in September after the National Champion is crowned.

Tomorrow night (Saturday), Monticello Speedway will try to race again after a terrible stretch of rainouts. Modifieds headline the show there this week as well and the Crate Late Models will be in action. Commercial Bank of Monticello is sponsoring the Commericial Bank 40 for USMTS next Friday night, July 27th. With help from Mark Martin Ford, Bab Boy Mowers and Larry Shaw Race Cars, that race will pay $3000 to win as well.

At Fast Trax tomorrow night (Saturday), Modifieds share the billing with a $1000 to win IMCA Southern Sport Mod event and the Southern Outlaw Wing 600 Mini Sprints. Fast Trax also boasts the only weekly Late Model program in north Louisiana! Next Saturday July 28th, Specialty Contractors presents the Fast 40 for USMTS Southern Series Modifieds and again thanks to Mark Martin Ford, Bad Boy Mowers and Larry Shaw Race Cars, that event will also be $3000 to win!

Choose your tune-up! Will it be Louisiana or Arkansas? Good luck to all!!
