Niemela is not running anything next week, well, as of drivers meeting yesterday. That may have changed after a good outing last night.
Rutherford doesnt have a midget anymore if I remember correctly my last conversation.

So, after all the stuff on this topic, now I'm =really= confused. Is it wings or wingless?

Ok so now all the NON WING sprints of any motor size can come run at the OSS in San Bernadino this Saturday night .also the lightning sprints will be on the card.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Why, then, does the SMS website say the following?
"This weekend marks the Bash for Cash Sprint Show. This non-sanctioned event is open to any Winged 360 Sprint running with WC 360 or VRA rules..."
How many winged sprints in this state run with WC360 or VRA rules? .....
The following was posted on the NorCal Sprint Car forum: "Ruben@SMS MyWebsite
June 23, 2013 at 10:48:39 PM ...... Wing" Which is fine. But how did WC 360 and VRA rules ever become part of this?

WInged race for $3k at Santa Maria is better option than having two non-wng races to choose from. Hope Santa Maria has a good car count and fans. Last weeks race looked like a pretty good crowd.

Unfortunately the guy that does our website is in FL this week and apparently there was some miss communication between him and I. This weekends race (June 29th) will be a 360 WINGED SHOW. Which we all know WC 360 and VRA have nothing to do with. Sorry for the mishap.

Would have been interesting to see VRA/WC360 cars bolt on wings let er rip kinda like the old days day one run non wing, the next day winged, the 3rd day pavement all with the same car
You could do it today ... say U ran Fri, non wing @ OSS , Sat, with a wing @ The PAS, non wing on the tar Sun, @ Irwindale, ... the first rule would be you have to use the same chassis all three nights
The above Comments are satire & for entertainment
purposes only

Based on seeing several 360 wing shows at Watsonville, Hanford and Tooluar over the past year (H & T being just about the same distance from where most of the Taco Bravo cars are garaged), I'd say this might be a representative list of possibles ...... Brad Furr, Stockton; Nick Rescino, San Francisco; Nick Foster, San Jose; Shane Golobic, Fremont; Koen Shaw, Fresno; Nathan Washam, Pleasanton; Justin Sanders, Prunedale; Carson Macedo, Lemoore; Jerry Bonnema, Corralitos; Burt Foland, Campbell; Nick Ringo, Morgan Hill; Tommy Tarlton, Fresno; D.J. Netto, Hanford; Steven Tiner, Elverta; Anthony Simone, Fresno; Landon Hurst, Riverdale; Eric Humphries, Chowchilla; Steven Kent, Fresno; and Dominic Scelzi, Fresno. That's 19 motor vehicles...... The KWS 410s are in Placerville this Saturday, which means you =might= see Peter Murphy in Nipomo, =but= several of the drivers on my list of 19 are also irregulars with KWS. It's 80 miles (round trip) closer for most of the drivers listed above to come to SMS. So pray. & offer money to Tow God.
