This summons is being served to let it be known to all the people across the land. Including the Kings, Queens and their Courts, The Emperors, Dukes, Nobles, Knights, Marquis', Earls, Counts and Pages, when the checkered flag falls and the dust settles on July 14th, in the year of our Lord 2007, a man will have conquered what only 12 other men have accomplished. After he has been crowned by the High Priest, history will have been made and from that day forth, he shall be known as the Racing King of all Kings!
A reserved seat was $26.
Defending King-Donnie Kreitz Jr. was testing the waters in NASCAR North Stock Car Series.
Haudenschild will drive the Gary Stanton No. 40, as Haud's regular ride, the Ted Lee No. 2 Sprint is sitting idle with only aluminum engine blocks. Per King's Royal rules, cast iron engine only.
Ron Shuman will step into Indiana’s Gary Runyon No. 7 Sprint Car, as the Casey Luna No. 10 team is also without a cast iron engine. Shuman would also take the Runyon wheel at Knoxville a few weeks later.
Corrections and additional information is necessary for historical accuracy, so please let me know what needs to be righted.

Random post race quotes:
Jac Haudenschild-“I knew if I didn’t run it for all it had, with those guys behind me I could have ended up third on the last lap. I got a little close to the wall a few times, but I was comfortable. The car was just perfect.
Gary Stanton-“I knew a couple of days ago when I got the car done that it was a pretty good car…I’ve wanted to win this for a couple of years and last year I thought we had it in the bag. This kind of makes up for that.”
Steve Kinser-“I caved in the hub cap up there in turn 1 and packed the wheel full of mud.”
Steve Butler-“The longer the race went, the faster we went….I wish we had 10 more laps.”
Brad Doty-“I packed the right rear wheel full of mud and it was vibrating so badly at the end of the straightaways that my vision was blurred.”
Les Kepler-“Boy was she fast…That flat tire cost me a lot of money.”
