Hi I'm over from the uk for the Vegas outlaw shows and can't seem to find a shuttle bus service anywhere like previous years ? Is any one staying on the strip and wants to taxi share?or knows a cheap way there and back? From a huge uk sprint car fan :-)

Where are you staying? Usually you can just look for a racing t-shirt and start up a conversation with a fellow fan. When we went every Fall we would stay downtown, usually at the 4-Queens. I would think any race fan would either give you a lift or advice on transportation. Otherwise, just stop at the Concierge desk at any of the hotels and act like you're staying there and ask them. They should be able to advise. Good luck and enjoy the races.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

I'm staying at the bellagio and I'm going to be Looking out for people wearing racing shirts today,I have had to get a taxi from the strip before and managed to share with some other fans every time so fingers crossed! Thanks for your advice ,looks like the racing is going to be good with lots of cars.

I called the speedway to ask if there was a shuttle last year, there was one hoasted by Coach America , I believe it picked up at two locations on the strip, one location was strait across from Circus Circus and the other by the old Frontier? don't quote me on this correct pickup points but there was one aval last year, Again I would contact LVMS, the gal was more than helpful to aid in finding a ride from the strip, I have family that is currently there, I believe they are renting a car for the week, drop me a line if nothing else pans out.

Haven't recived an email yet? Thanks for your help dirtdevil but they usually sell the coach America tickets in treasure island but there not on sale until Thursday this year so looks like its just for the NASCAR :-( hopefully 21au fan gets hold of me as taxi prices to lvms are not cheap.

Just spoke with my old man (mind you he is a retirie and my info is second hand) he said there was a shuttle from the Excalibur to the track? fact or fiction? so, if that helps anybody? let us know? he also said it was suppose to be windy and delighted when I told him they race tommarrow too.. anyway?

Latest weather for the NORTH Las Vegas area is showing wind gusts this evening up to 45 MPH. Been at the track when this happens and I nearly froze my too-too off! The next morning I was at Walmart waiting for them to open the doors so I could buy me a pair of long johns. Believe me, I wore them that night and was glad I did. When that wind whips down off that mountain it just blows the cold air right through you.
