Maybe it was reported in here in August, had to have been but I must have missed it. During PA speedweeks, 62 year young Keith Kauffman won a feature at one of the 8 nights of racing and obviously with all the PA heavy hitters there, Rahmer, Dewease, Dietrich, Lasoski in the Zemco car, even Darrah from the Outlaws was there.
That is just one heck of a story. Don't know how I missed it here or on IBRACING. A great though late congratulations to Keith Kauffman, one of the all-time greats, and possibly 2nd only to Rahmer in Feature wins in the NE, not sure bout that tho.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

While I find it fantastic that Keith won and think its a real accomplishment, the reason you didn't hear much about it was that the track was a rubber down single file snoozer. The race by all accounts "sucked". Nobody could really race, just follow the leader huggy pole.
Cheers!

A win is a win and in order to finish first, you have to first finish. Kudos to Keith on the win with more to come in 2013.

Yes you are correct. I was addressing the original poster as to why he hadn't heard more about the win. The track was single file the whole night and fans weren't happy about that.
Cheers!

Kauffman is second to Rahmer in wins all-time as far as the Posse is concerned. I know Keith is around 310 and I think Rahmer is over 400. The thing is Keith spent much time on the road with the Outlaws and some with the All-Stars back in the 1980s and 1990s. As Bones Bourcier wrote one time in Open Wheel magazine years and years ago, Keith made some very average rides look good on the road. Who knows how many wins Keith would have if he stayed around home especially Port Royal, the Grove, Lincoln, Selinsgrove, Susquehanna, etc.
Can't wait to see if Keith can win another race or two in 2013 and hopefully, one will come during PA Speedweek at Port Royal, the Grove, or Hagerstown.
