just watched a Schatz vid from Western Springs last week and noticed that puke face had an American Racer on the RR. Is that their tire deal or they just playing while down there? Beginning of video looked like I saw a Hoosier on car next to him.

New Zealand has no tire deals. Driver preference. Hoosier D10's are most commonly used but American Racer is increasing in popularity in both the Sprint and our equivalent to late model classes

To meatface: Another unemployed nameless weasel brave enough to sit in his mother's basement on her computer and post crap like that. Say that to his face and you'd be eating thru a straw for a year until welfare bought you teeth. He11, say it to old man Schatz and you'd get the same ass kicking. Change your handle to chickensheet meatsheet. As Justin Zoch, editor of Flat Out sprint car magazine said in the August 2012 issue: ""the last decade has essentially belonged to Schatz and there is no reason to think that the next one won't belong to him too. He hears boos but just try to think of a time Shatz acted unprofessionally or raced someone dirty. Got anything yet? didn't think so. That more than anything should draw the comparisons to Steve"".
Jee, I wonder who the Steve he was talking about is. First time I've seen a writer brave enough to call a spade a spade. Guess he doesn't care if he gets an interview with this Steve in the future. I know I don't. Guess meatface is in for another rough 10 years.
Or Joey Saldana in an interview in Sprint Car & Midget called Schatz the cleanest driver out there, one you can drive close to and not worry about getting wrecked. I've seen that same statement from drive after driver in both magazines.

RE : The Schatz tyre choice, Mark Cooper the guy who brought him down to this part of the world is the American Racer distributor for Australia. The car that came down last year had the Goodyear decals on the car taped over to avoid an "interesting situation" with him running the non Outlaw brand. I noticed on Saturday night this years car had no reference to Goodyear.

open tire rule unless your car owner represents one of the tire companies it seems. 95% of cars are family owned so its not often a driver has to run a certain brand but in this case it is. my apologies

tatnellmania (or Donny's mom, whoever?) - I refer to Donny Schatz as "puke face" and you reply all this B-S? Now he and his father are going to kick my ass? For your info, I think Donny Schatz is one of the best ever behind the wheel of a sprint car! When he wins he shows great sportsmanship. When he runs 2nd he acts like someone raped his entire family. I attempted to talk to him once (NOT DURING OR AFTER A RACE, MIND YOU) and he acted like I was a low life scumbag that didn't deserve a simple hello. THAT is why I refer to him as puke face. I'll be sure to catch up with him this summer (when I'm not in Mom's basement using her computer) and let him know about it just for you. I'll report back here after I do to let you know how many bruises and bumps he and his father left. IDIOT! Do me a favor, next time you see him, remember to wipe your chin afterwards!
