Lawton Speedway Winter Nationals Set to Conclude This Saturday Night!

FOR IMMEDAITE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – October 30, 2012 - After being delayed because of inclement weather that occurred three weeks ago, the 23rd Annual Lawton Speedway Winter Nationals championship night is set to conclude this coming Saturday night in Lawton, Oklahoma.

However, the first night of the two day event was complete with four drivers in each of the five divisions locked into Saturday night's feature finale and those drivers will draw for the first two rows for the finale in their respective divisions.

Drivers in each division that are locked into the feature finale are:

Championship sprints -Shane Sellers, Robert Sellers, Brandon Jennings and Loyd Clevenger.

USA Modifieds: Chad Howell, Stanley Reed, Jr., C.A. Nix and Jasen Hammond.

USA Limited Modifieds: Chris Cary, Tony Marsh, Gene Bryce and Kyle Nelson.

Factory Stocks: Cole Dennis, Chris Foster, Corey Justus and Mike Jackson.

Mini Stocks: Richard Pece, James Norton, Tyler Kincaid, Blake Grigsby.

All other drivers run heat races and "B" features for starting position in each feature finale. Those drivers who have yet pay their entry fee can still do so. It will be $50 for championship sprints and USA modifieds, $25 for USA limited modifieds, factory stocks and mini stocks.

Championship features will see the championship sprint and USA modified features pay $1000 to win and $100 to start the twenty car field. The factory stock and limited modified championship feature winners will earn $400 while just starting the twenty car field will earn $40. The mini stock division will pay $300 to win Saturday night's feature finale and $30 to start.

Lawton Speedway is located off of I-44 to Lee Blvd., then go west on Lee to Sheridan
Road. Turn south and go 1 1/2 mile.

As of yesterday, there is a web problem with the results for Lawton being shown.
