Curious if the 2 tracks are thinking about going the route of racesaver and going to the 305 motors?

Pretty much a sure thing- They met with French Grimes last week- You can check out the rules at www.racesaver.com It will call for a 305 spec head engine- Basically the head will be the limitation on RPMs which will greatly help with engine life- read all about it on the racesaver site.

They are Bob Allen and the tech crew from Arlington-along with other drivers from the track- Bob had a short notice on facebook about the meeting- came up fast- I do not know what drivers were able to attend- Like steiny says-check with Bob. Have a good of season & we will see you at the races-Pat

Great move if they go that route. This should have happened for the 305s a couple of years ago in my opinion. Jackson should consider. Heck, drop the 360s and have the RACESAVER 305s as the only class. A lot more teams could afford to race. Worthington?..... Checkout Eagle Raceways payout for the RACESAVER class. It's pretty good. A lot better than the average 305 payout.

I think it is an interesting move with Arlington going 305 engine class. While I agree is has been a very good addition for sprint car development, they seem to have a number of guys with 360's that are going to have to put in some money to make the change. Can't ever see Jackson leaving the 360 class, but you never know. I think it is odd more of the hobby/bmod guys don't look at moving the 305 class.
