I haven't looked on here too much but I've asked others on the West Coast and can't seem to get an answer but will the Trophy Cup be an online PPV race?

No, I don't think so.

I can confirm Grove puts out a great Trophy Cup video every year. I buy it every year whether I make it to Trophy Cup or not. Helps get through the winter months. For those who haven't seen a race at Tulare's Thunderbowl, it's a great representation of the action at my favorite California dirt track. Looking forward to your video Grove and hoping you put together a best of Trophy Cup video!

Thanks, I appreciate the good words. I've had a few PayPal orders already. Mostly from the poor souls who for one reason or another can't make it to beautiful Thunderbowl !

Wheelies, Flips and Foto-Finishes, man I had a whole bunch of them over the years and wore 'em out, they were the BEST! The dash from Chico I think is still the best 4 laps of sprint car racing I have ever seen, you know the one I mean Grove, man can you post that in this forum, never seen anything better. By the way these were all Grove Hill Productions......

Mike - I think the dash you are thinking about was at Kings in Hanford.

Bk, Paul McMahan in the yellow 2 of Mike Hasebe, and Ronnie Day.

Bk and Paulie, in 4 laps had 8 lead changes then tangled coming off T-4 toward the checker and Ronnie went by and got the win ! !

I'm a couple days late with the reply because I just got home from the Trophy Cup. Saw your favorite sprint car buddy (is it McDonald?) there in his chair enjoying the racing and thought of you! I sort of retired (like you did) at the end of '06 but still go to the Trophy Cup every year. It is like going to a family reunion! I got more hugs on thurs and fri than I have since I was there last year. As usual, it TRUELY IS the best show of every year. Andy Forsberg said at the Taco Bravo feed that he thinks it has replaced to Gold Cup as the happening of the year and everyone without a doubt agrees. You ought to consider getting your butt down here next year for the 20th annual that is going to pay $50,000 to win. Jason Meyers was the big winner last night. I am retired but still don't know how to watch a race without a camera between me and the action so I shot my 19th TC and will be back next year, guaranteed!

I have converted all 20 of those WF&FF ('87 - '06) to DVD and have had several people reorder them all to get the new format.

Grove, GREAT to hear from you and so happy to hear you are still catching some races. I have been to Hanford a couple times in the past and saw good racing there both times. I think the place went completely dark one night and I was amazed nobody crashed when it happened, think it was the same place, my memory is not what it once was, lol.

I also think that is the dash you are talking about, greatest video I ever saw. Is there any chance of putting in this forum somehow, all my oldies from sprint videos to music videos to hockey fight tapes are all VHS which is about as extinct as I am and not useful any more. All the best, I miss our Chico days (10 years of the Gold Cup for me) but maybe the Trophy Cup will happen down the road, Take It Easy.....
